I got EVA GTX 960 Super SC 2GB and its really good. I researched the 4GB model but apparently it won't make any difference on performance due to its low bandwith bus (128 bit). So 2 GB will do you good, I got it from newegg and they gave me the backplate for free so you should check it out (they also gave me the new Metal Gear Solid game!)
Measured power consumption GTX 960. System in IDLE = 120 Watts. System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 236 Watts. Difference (GPU load) = 116 Watts. Add average IDLE wattage ~10 Watts

GTX 960 versus GT 1030 performance benchmarks comparison. Compare graphics card gaming performance in 50 games and in 1080p, 1440p, and 4K at Ultra, High, Medium, and Low quality settings. Compare specifications, price, power, temperature, and CPU bottlenecks.
A lower load temperature means that the card produces less heat and its cooling system performs better. supports ray tracing. MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Nvidia GeForce GTX 960. Ray tracing is an advanced light rendering technique that provides more realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections in games. Supports 3D.
The GTX 960 is firmly designed for 1080p gaming, which is where the vast majority of monitors currently reside. AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB (provided by throwing in the GTX 960 for good measure
It also allows for single-click overclocking using factory presets. Silent Mode sets the GPU clock down to Nvidia’s reference speed of 1127MHz with a GPU Boost clock of 1178MHz. Gaming Mode is
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit. If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration. If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited. Next, look at the power supply cables. Your GTX960 should have a single 6 pin pcie cable connected.
In your GTX 960 review article you wrote about the asus strix gtx 960 that it produced some power spikes in the motherboard slot. Specifically you wrote " the otherwise very good Asus GTX 960
